Seasonal Retail Sales Associate
About The Position
The Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The associate follows operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained across multiple store areas to support business needs. The role includes assisting with purchases and returns, promoting credit and loyalty programs, preparing merchandise for the sales floor, and maintaining merchandising, recovery, cleanliness, and safety standards. Associates support store culture and shrink-reduction efforts, follow labor laws and company procedures, and provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback. Other duties may be assigned. This is a seasonal position at the HomeGoods store in Woodinville, Washington. The starting pay range is $17.13–$17.63 per hour; the full pay range is $17.13–$27.20 per hour. Actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and embodying customer experience principles.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment, including sales-floor recovery and store cleanliness.
- Adhere to operational, merchandise, loss prevention, labor law, policy, and procedural standards.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow merchandising philosophy and procedures and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company standards.
- Support store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
