About The Position

The Retail Sales Associate, internally classified as a Zone Specialist, assists customers and helps maintain the store’s appearance. The role is responsible for customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with primary focus on an assigned store zone. Associates are expected to embody Ollie’s values: teamwork, care, value, commitment, growth, and authenticity.

Requirements

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player and interact well with customers and associates.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and recover all products in the assigned department according to visual merchandise standards.
• Learn current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and support sales.
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs year-round.
• Assist with truck receiving, pricing merchandise, and training new associates.
• Keep the assigned zone neat and organized.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
