About The Position

The Retail Sales Associate, internally classified as a Zone Specialist, assists customers and helps maintain the store’s appearance. The role is responsible for customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with a primary focus on the assigned store zone. Associates are expected to embody Ollie’s values: teamwork, caring, value-consciousness, commitment, growth, and authenticity.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six or more months of retail experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player and interact well with customers and Associates.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and recover all product within the department according to visual merchandise standards.
• Stay knowledgeable about current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales.
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving truck deliveries, pricing items, and training new Associates.
• Keep the assigned zone neat and organized.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
