About The Position

AutoZone is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service and help customers find appropriate automotive parts and solutions. The role supports sales, inventory, and daily store operations while fostering a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. Associates provide automotive advice, recommend products and promotions, use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and suggest solutions, and stay current on parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems. The position involves collaborating with managers and teammates, following store processes and safety policies, and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous automotive retail experience.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to foster a motivated, productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently using structured processes; follow company safety policies and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as required.
