Seasonal Retail Sales Associate Part Time
About The Position
The Seasonal Retail Sales Associate delivers a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, applying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The associate follows operational, merchandise, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; promotes credit and loyalty programs; and follows established procedures for sales transactions, merchandise preparation, merchandising, store recovery, cleanliness, safety, and shrink reduction. The associate provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback, complies with labor laws and company policies, and performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
- Engage and interact with customers to deliver a highly satisfied customer experience and model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring purchases and returns and count change according to established operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the company merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participate in maintaining and cleaning the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
