About The Position

The Retail Sales Associate, internally classified as Front End Specialist 1, assists customers and helps maintain the store’s appearance. The role handles customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with a primary focus on front-end operations. Associates are expected to embody Ollie’s values: teamwork, care, value-consciousness, commitment, growth, and honesty.

Requirements

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays regularly.
• Positive attitude and a team-player approach, with a desire to engage with and serve customers.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge customers as they enter and exit the store and approach the front end.
• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Know current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales.
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving truck deliveries, pricing items, merchandising products, and recovering the store.
• Maintain the store’s appearance and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
