About The Position
As a Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-focused selling with genuine hospitality to create standout shopping experiences. You learn about customers’ needs, provide personalized recommendations, and connect them with appropriate products and services. Through warmth, product knowledge, and customer engagement, you build trust, meet sales goals, and encourage customer loyalty. You also help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping environment. Colleagues prepare for the day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals, top sellers, trends, and promotions, and ensuring the sales floor is ready for customers. During the day, they welcome customers and build personal relationships, maintain the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, support merchandise moves, share loyalty program benefits, and help customers complete their shopping experience. They collaborate with teammates, work toward individual and store results, and seek to improve their performance.
Requirements
- Flexible availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.
- Comfort communicating and collaborating with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to meet daily sales goal challenges.
- Enjoy meeting people, learning about them, and sharing information.
- Resourcefulness, eagerness to start a new venture, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

- Ability to talk, lift, move constantly, stand, and reach with arms and hands.
- Ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds.
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Ability to frequently use computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and a cash register, and to process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Review sales goals and stay informed about new arrivals, top-selling items, current trends, and promotions.
- Welcome customers and create friendly, personal conversations to understand their needs and build customer relationships.
- Offer personalized product and service recommendations and use effective selling behaviors to achieve sales goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and shoppable sales floor and fitting rooms.
- Recover the sales floor and fitting rooms, update signs and pricing, and support merchandise moves.
- Share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and provide a sincere closing and thank-you.
- Collaborate with teammates to support customers and the community.
- Strive to improve, take pride in work, and contribute to individual and store results.
