About The Position

Guitar Center is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to create a welcoming, engaging shopping experience for customers and help them find instruments and gear that suit their musical interests. The role combines customer service, sales, product knowledge, relationship-building, and store upkeep. The associate is expected to pursue sales targets, recommend complementary products, stay informed about product trends and features, and help maintain an inviting store environment. Pay is $17.00–$21.25 per hour plus commission, depending on background and experience; actual compensation may vary based on experience, education, location, and other factors.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, understand their musical interests, and recommend suitable instruments and gear.

• Build relationships with customers, follow up to ensure satisfaction, and develop connections within the local music community.
• Organize displays, restock shelves, and maintain the store environment.
