About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintaining well-stocked inventory, and supporting store operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers WOW! Customer Service, helps customers select products, offers automotive advice, and contributes to sales and a positive retail environment. The role also supports teammates, maintains merchandise organization, follows cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures, and uses company systems and diagnostic tools to assist customers.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow cash-handling and loss-prevention procedures, and help keep store operations running smoothly.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks and follow company safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
