About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide customer service, maintain inventory, assist customers with product selection, and offer automotive advice. The Retail Sales Associate helps customers find parts and solutions, contributes to sales and store performance, and supports day-to-day store operations. The role includes assisting with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. It offers opportunities for growth in an essential industry serving the motoring public.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Availability for a full-time flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to foster a motivated, productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise, follow cash-handling and loss-prevention policies, and support smooth store operations.
• Use established processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Assist customers with wiper blade, battery, and light bulb installations.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
