Retail Sales Associate – Part Time
About The Position
AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role includes providing automotive advice, recommending products and promotions, supporting sales goals, maintaining inventory and store operations, and helping create a positive retail environment. Associates use AutoZone systems to stay current on parts, tools, and promotions, and may use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. The position involves working collaboratively with managers and teammates, following store processes and safety policies, and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
- Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, and weekends, and overtime as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
- Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock and organize merchandise; follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies; and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently by following structured processes and company safety policies, including use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
