About The Position

The Zone Specialist assists customers and helps maintain the store’s appearance. The role is responsible for customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with a primary focus on an assigned store zone. The job posting title may differ from Ollie’s internal job title; the official title assigned upon hire will reflect the company’s internal job classification structure.

Requirements

• A positive attitude and the ability to work well with customers and associates as a team player.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six or more months of retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise and recover all product in the department according to visual merchandise standards.
• Know current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales.
• Support Ollie’s Army and other donation programs year-round.
• Assist with receiving the truck and pricing items.
• Assist with training new Associates.
• Keep the assigned zone neat and organized.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
