About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams are the frontline of WOW! Customer Service, helping customers find automotive parts and solutions. Store employees maintain inventory, assist with product selection, offer automotive advice, support sales, and help maintain store operations and a positive retail environment.

As a Retail Sales Associate, you will deliver customer service by helping customers, recommending products and services, and supporting sales and store performance. You will work with managers and teammates, maintain merchandise and store organization, follow point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and use AutoZone systems to stay current on parts, tools, and promotions. You will also use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. Follow company safety policies and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
• Use structured processes to complete tasks efficiently and comply with company safety policies, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as needed.
