About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service and help customers find parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Retail Sales Associates assist with product selection, offer automotive advice, support sales, maintain inventory, and contribute to effective store operations. They work with managers and teammates to create a positive, knowledgeable retail environment and use AutoZone systems to stay current on parts, tools, and promotions. The role also includes using diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain store organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently by following structured processes and company safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment.
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
