About The Position

The Retail Sales Associate at Vuori connects with customers and communicates the brand’s values through product knowledge and an upbeat, optimistic approach. The role focuses on delivering an excellent customer experience, building lasting customer relationships, supporting sales goals in a team-based commission environment, and assisting with store operations and visual merchandising. Associates greet and assist customers, prepare fitting rooms, locate sizes, and offer knowledgeable feedback about merchandise style and fit. They build product knowledge, support sales-team projects, communicate inventory needs and product concerns, and help maintain a neat, clean, organized sales floor. Store duties also include stocking, inventory management, cleaning, cash-control procedures, and implementing merchandising and visual directives. This is a seasonal retail role. Employees must be available for scheduled night, weekend, and holiday shifts and work actively as part of a fast-paced retail team. The hourly range is $18–$21.50, plus pooled team commission of $3–$5, for stated total compensation of $21–$26.50.

Responsibilities

Create an unforgettable customer experience and build lasting relationships with customers.
Work with the sales team to ensure customers receive excellent service.
Greet customers in a timely, authentic, and engaging manner.
Prepare fitting rooms, find sizes, and provide knowledgeable feedback on merchandise style and fit.
Achieve sales goals in a team-based commission environment.
Develop product knowledge, including knowledge of the broader fashion and activewear landscape.
Assist with projects while keeping the focus on the customer experience.
Communicate inventory needs to support business goals.
Stock the sales floor every evening.
Collaborate with management on inventory management.
Clean the retail store regularly, including floors and bathrooms.
Understand and execute cash-control procedures, including bank deposits and petty cash.
Assist with implementing and maintaining merchandising and visual directives.
Keep the selling floor neat, clean, organized, and consistent with the correct visual image.
Identify and communicate product concerns in a timely manner.
