About The Position

AutoZone store teams provide WOW! Customer Service by helping customers find the right automotive parts and solutions. Retail Sales Associates assist with product selection, provide automotive advice, support sales, maintain inventory, and contribute to smooth store operations. They work with managers and teammates to foster a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. The role also includes using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions, while following safety policies and using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to create a motivated, productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions to enhance the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock merchandise, maintain organization, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss prevention policies, and support proper financial management.
• Use structured processes to complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including use of PPE.
• Keep up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
• Lift, load, and deliver merchandise as required.
