Retail Sales Associate – Part Time

About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams are the frontline of WOW! Customer Service, helping customers find automotive parts and solutions while maintaining inventory, supporting store operations, and creating a positive retail environment. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will provide customer service, recommend products and services, contribute to sales goals, and help keep the store organized and operating smoothly. You will stay informed about automotive parts and promotions, and use diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. This is a part-time position.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
Collaborate with managers and teammates, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and support proper financial management.
Complete assigned tasks using structured processes and follow company safety policies, including using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Stay up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
