About The Position

AutoZone’s store teams provide customer service, help customers find automotive parts and solutions, maintain inventory, and support sales and store operations. The Retail Sales Associate delivers WOW! Customer Service by assisting customers with product selection and automotive advice, recommending products and promotions, and contributing to store performance. The role also includes restocking and organizing merchandise, following point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, learning about automotive parts and promotions, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. Team members collaborate with managers and coworkers and follow company safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment. The position offers opportunities for career growth in automotive retail.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years old to apply.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
• Flexible schedule availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
• Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
• Previous experience in automotive retail.
• Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to support a motivated, productive store environment and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
• Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
• Restock and organize merchandise; follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies and support proper financial management.
• Complete assigned tasks using structured processes and follow company safety policies, including use of personal protective equipment.
• Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions using AutoZone systems.
• Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
