About The Position

The Retail Sales Associate assists customers and helps maintain the store’s appearance. The role covers customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with a primary focus on an assigned store zone. The internal job title is Zone Specialist.

Associates are expected to reflect Ollie’s core values: teamwork, caring, value, commitment, growth, and authenticity. The posting title may differ from Ollie’s internal title; the official title upon hire will follow the company’s internal job classification structure.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player and interact well with customers and associates.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products in the assigned zone are merchandised and recovered according to visual merchandise standards.
• Know current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales.
• Assist with receiving truck deliveries, pricing items, merchandising products, and recovering the store.
• Keep the assigned zone neat and organized.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Assist customers and help maintain the store’s appearance.
