Retail Sales Associate - IceDen
About The Position
The Retail Sales Associate works in the Florida Team Shop at Florida Panthers IceDen, building relationships with repeat customers and introducing first-time customers to the products and services available. The role focuses on improving the customer experience and generating sales. The work takes place at a professional ice rink, where noise can be high, customer traffic can be heavy, temperatures are often cold, and lighting may be bright or dark with occasional flashing lights. This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule that may include late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and presentation.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Sales experience preferred; sports or retail sales experience preferred.
- Playing experience in hockey or figure skating preferred.
- Knowledge of hockey and/or figure skating equipment preferred.
- High school diploma preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with buying decisions.
- Increase sales volume.
- Monitor inventory and help prevent theft.
