About The Position

The gorgeous Waldorf Astoria Resort in Maui, Grand Wailea, is looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join this fantastic team! Located on 40 acres of lush tropical gardens, this Forbes 4-Star property is consistently ranked among the world's best resorts with 780 rooms, 100,000 square feet of banquet space, and 7 food and beverage outlets. This includes 3 restaurants, 3 bars, a cafe, and in-room dining. The ideal candidate will have at least 6-months of customer service experience, an excellent attitude, and a passion for creating unforgettable experiences for others. As a Retail Associate, you’re not just selling merchandise – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and provide friendly and efficient service to enhance the shopping experience
• Highlight promotions and provide product recommendations to enhance the guest experience and maximize profitability
• Offer guidance on merchandise, styling, and pricing to help customers make informed purchases
• Accurately total and handle guest payments using the point-of-sale system; manage cash transactions, process credit and debit cards, issue change, and redeem gift certificates/cards
• Wrap merchandise and prepare orders for shipments
• Assist with stock management and ensuring proper merchandise supply levels
