Retail Sales Associate – Part Time
About The Position
AutoZone is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service and help customers find automotive parts and solutions. The role contributes to sales and store performance, maintains inventory and store operations, and supports a positive, knowledgeable retail environment. Associates use AutoZone systems to build product knowledge and diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. The position requires flexibility to work mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed, as well as the ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old to apply.

Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
- Strong people skills and effective communication in both Spanish and English.
- Previous experience in automotive retail.
- Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates to foster a motivated and productive store environment, support team members, and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions to improve the customer experience and contribute to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently using structured processes, follow company safety policies, and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
