About The Position
The Dog Bakery is hiring enthusiastic, customer-focused Retail Sales Associates for its Los Angeles locations. Associates provide an engaging shopping experience for pet owners while helping customers choose handcrafted dog treats and gifts. This is an active, hands-on retail role in a fast-paced, dog-loving environment.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Availability to work at least one weekend day, Saturday or Sunday.
- Availability during the holiday season from November through January.
- Strong customer-service orientation and enjoyment of helping people and their pets.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with teammates.
- Positive, energetic personality.
- Comfortable being on one's feet in an active, hands-on role.
Nice To Haves
- Retail or sales experience is preferred.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems or transaction handling are a plus.
- A love of dogs.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers, provide product recommendations, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Educate customers about the company's products and help them choose treats or gifts for their dogs.
- Keep store displays stocked, organized, and visually appealing.
- Process transactions and returns and support smooth checkout experiences.
- Collaborate with coworkers to maintain an efficient, customer-focused environment.
- Represent the brand and share its mission and enthusiasm for dogs with customers.
