As a Seasonal Retail Selling Colleague, you combine results-focused selling with genuine hospitality to create memorable holiday shopping experiences. You learn about each customer’s needs, offer personalized recommendations, and connect customers with suitable products and services. You engage customers on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, use product knowledge and attentive service to build trust and loyalty, and work toward selling goals. You also help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting shopping space. Colleagues prepare for the day by reviewing sales goals, learning about new arrivals, popular items, trends, and promotions, and ensuring the sales floor is ready for customers. During the day, they build customer relationships through friendly, personal conversations; merchandise new receipts; process damages, testers, and selected merchandise for return to vendors; update signs and pricing; and support merchandise moves. They share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and close interactions with a sincere thank-you. The role also emphasizes teamwork, ongoing learning, and achieving individual and store results. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
