Retail Sales Associate – Part Time
About The Position
AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver customer service, help customers select automotive parts and solutions, and contribute to sales and store performance. The role includes assisting customers with automotive advice, maintaining inventory and store organization, following point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, learning about products and promotions, and using diagnostic tools to read vehicle codes and recommend solutions. Associates work with managers and teammates to support a productive store environment and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment. The position requires being at least 16 years old, being able to lift, load, and deliver merchandise, and having flexible availability for mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Basic automotive parts knowledge, bilingual Spanish and English communication, prior automotive retail experience, and ASE certification are preferred. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates to foster a motivated, productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale procedures and loss-prevention policies, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
- Use structured processes to complete tasks efficiently and follow company safety policies, including using personal protective equipment.
- Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
