About The Position

The Retail Sales Associate assists customers and helps maintain the store’s appearance. The role is responsible for customer service, merchandising, and store maintenance, with a primary focus on an assigned store zone. Associates are expected to support one another, treat others with courtesy and respect, embrace value, demonstrate commitment, pursue improvement, and act honestly and transparently. The internal job title is Zone Specialist; the external title may differ to align with industry standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team player and interact well with customers and associates.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Ensure products in the assigned zone are merchandised and recovered according to visual merchandising standards.
• Know current promotions and advertisements to answer customer questions and drive sales.
• Assist with receiving deliveries, pricing items, merchandising products, and recovering the store.
• Keep the assigned zone neat and organized.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned.
• Assist customers and help maintain the store’s appearance.
