Retail Sales Associate – Part Time
About The Position
AutoZone is hiring a part-time Retail Sales Associate to deliver WOW! Customer Service by helping customers find automotive parts and solutions, providing trustworthy advice, and supporting store sales and operations. The role includes working with managers and teammates to maintain a positive, productive store environment; recommending products, services, and promotions; restocking and organizing merchandise; following point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures; and keeping up to date on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems. Associates also use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions. The position requires the ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise and flexible availability, including mornings, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed. Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, provide trustworthy automotive advice, and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Collaborate with managers and teammates to foster a motivated, productive store environment; support team members and demonstrate leadership in daily responsibilities.
- Recommend products, services, and promotions while contributing to sales goals and store performance metrics.
- Restock and organize merchandise, follow point-of-sale and loss-prevention procedures, and support proper financial management and smooth store operations.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently using structured processes, follow company safety policies, and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Stay current on automotive parts, tools, and promotions through AutoZone systems.
- Use diagnostic tools to read codes from customer vehicles and recommend solutions.
