About The Position
Work World is growing and is looking for a Retail Sales Associate to join their team. This part-time position is responsible for assisting customers, maintaining inventory, and completing transactions. The role offers opportunities for learning and development in sales, customer service, and leadership.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of retail customer service experience preferred
- High School diploma or general degree (GED) - required
- Willing to work nights and weekends
- Excellent verbal communication
- Strong orientation towards providing excellent customer service
- Basic math skills
- High attention to detail
- Demonstrated sales skills and experience
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance
Nice To Haves
- Bi-Lingual a plus
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to customers
- Assist customers with requests in store and over the phone
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and polite manner
- Always maintain inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
- Complete customers transactions at the cash register including taking payments, and issuing receipts
- Tag prices and merchandise
- Contribute to team’s daily sales goal.
