About The Position

As a full-time Verizon Retail Sales Associate, you will work with a team in a Verizon retail store to drive sales and help customers find technology products and services that meet their needs. You will build customer connections, ask questions to understand needs, recommend solutions, and use effective communication to close sales. The role also includes ongoing training and development in operational areas such as merchandising and inventory. You may contact current Verizon customers by phone or text and participate in off-site Verizon-sponsored events to expand your customer base. The position is onsite at a defined location, with 40 scheduled weekly hours. The role offers an hourly base wage of $16.00 to $21.00, with commission opportunities; compensation varies by geography, hours worked, and performance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays; schedules are provided four weeks in advance.
• Openness to picking up additional shifts, typically during summer, November through December, and/or peak vacation periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales through technology knowledge and customer service.
• Build connections with customers and identify their needs by asking questions.

• Contact interested current Verizon customers by outbound calls and text messages.
