About The Position

The Temporary Retail Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience through customer engagement and by maintaining a clean, organized store. The role follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. Associates support a positive store culture, promote credit and loyalty programs, accurately process transactions and merchandise, maintain store recovery and cleanliness, and contribute to safety and shrink-reduction efforts.

Responsibilities

• Engage and interact with customers while following established customer-experience practices.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow merchandising philosophy, procedures, and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain the entire store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
