About The Position

Yellowstone Club’s Retail & Rental department is currently seeking candidates for a Retail Sales Associate for the upcoming Winter season! Our Winter employment months are November through April. The purpose of the Retail Sales Associate is to assist in providing production knowledge and sales support to Members and guest with Yellowstone Club’s retail standards and expectations.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED or vocational training or job-related course work
One to two years’ experience in customer service
Strong verbal/written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Previous cash handling experience
Ability to interact and maintain positive relationships with Members, guests, co-workers, and management.
Able to speak clearly and effectively with Members, guests, co-workers, vendors and other Yellowstone Club departments.
Able to write clearly and legibly.
Able to perform basic math calculations.
Ability to solve basic problems and/or know when it is necessary to get a manager to assist in problem solving.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.

Nice To Haves

Previous work experience in retail industry
Knowledge of TEI and Easy Rent

Responsibilities

Ensure that each member and guest receives outstanding guest service in a guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every member and guest, maintaining outstanding service standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest service.
Empowered to guarantee total guest satisfaction, display hospitality and professionalism to our guests at all times, take pride in representing Yellowstone Club professionally with our members and guests and assure that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal and ethical manner.
Understand and apply all property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for employees, members, and guests at all times. In the event of an accident or emergency, seek medical attention if necessary and contact the General Manager or Human Resources immediately.
Maintain a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a positive working environment.
Provide accurate and timely information regarding retail shop and services.
Utilize the elevated levels of sales and service to maximize sales performance.
Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of the merchandise.
Provide the highest level of customer service.
Keep selling floor and merchandise neat, organized and stocked.
Assist in the maintenance of all inventories in the stockroom and on the selling floor.
Properly execute all relevant register functions.
Ensure merchandise is neat, clean and pressed for presentation in the Retail Shop to the Club’s standards.
Assist in preparing attractive and creative in-store displays and visual merchandising.
Utilize information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning.
Handle Member and guest questions, complaints, and issues.
Charge the appropriate Member account for items purchased.
Interface with other departments in order to meet Member, guest, and prospective Member requests.
Answer Member, guest, prospect, and interdepartmental inquiries by telephone, facsimile, email and mail.
Provide a positive atmosphere in the retail shop for Members, guests, and employees.
Understand and communicate the rental equipment packages and features to ensure the best match, ensuring all equipment is returned efficiently and properly in the rental system.
Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established Club policies, procedures, and standards of service to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
Meet departmental productivity, organization, punctuality/attendance and consistency standards.
Maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
Treat Members, guests, vendors, customers and co-workers with professionalism and respect at all times.
