About The Position

Grace Company is looking for a friendly, customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our Quilt Store team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys sales, customer service, and working in a creative retail environment. You'll help customers select fabric, notions, quilting supplies, and Grace Company and TrueCut products while creating a welcoming, supportive experience for quilters and makers of all skill levels. Training is provided - quilting expertise is a plus, but not required.

Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Reliable and punctual, with flexibility for occasional evening shifts

Nice To Haves

Interest in quilting, sewing, crafting, or creative retail
Previous retail sales or customer service experience
Strong communication skills and a friendly, helpful attitude
Willingness to learn product details and confidently assist customers
Quilting expertise

Responsibilities

Assist customers with product selection, purchases, and general quilting questions
Drive in-store sales through great customer service and product recommendations
Operate the cash register and process daily sales transactions
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing retail space
Restock inventory and keep fabric and notion displays neat and accessible
Learn Grace Company quilting frames, machines, and TrueCut tools (training provided)
Support set-up and tear-down for in-store events, including evening quilt guild meetings
Provide basic usage guidance for quilting tools and machines (training provided)
Assist with occasional product demos or workshops
Work collaboratively with the store team to deliver an excellent customer experience
