About The Position

As a Sales Associate at Target Optical, you provide an exceptional shopping experience that encourages positive customer connections and brand loyalty. You help customers find quality eye care products and services, represent the brand, maintain store standards, and assist with customer service needs. The role is part-time and may occasionally include opening or closing duties and work meetings.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of previous sales or customer service experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while remaining committed to an excellent customer experience.
• Self-motivated and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Promote an excellent customer experience by greeting and serving customers.
• Inform merchandisers or managers about stocking needs.
• Maintain visual standards established by management and the company.
• Resolve customer issues and involve management when needed.
• Provide high-touch assistance in complex service situations for VIP clientele and support their retention.
• Stay informed about the current product assortment and serve as a knowledgeable brand ambassador.
• Listen to and follow instructions from management or superiors.
• Occasionally assist with opening and closing duties.
• Comply with professional regulations, internal rules, and the company’s code of conduct.
• Attend and participate in occasional work meetings.
• Be punctual for shifts and proactively communicate obstacles to a manager.
• Represent the brand by drawing on personal style and connection to local and broader communities.
