Boscov’s is seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join their growing retail team. This role is ideal for individuals with retail sales or customer service experience looking for a rewarding career. Requirements

• Ability and desire to actively engage customers, sell merchandise, and provide excellent customer service.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic math skills.
• Ability to learn selling skills and to operate a POS register and telxon.
• Available to work varied days and hours as work schedule requires, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Prior retail sales experience and/or customer service experience, preferred

Responsibilities

• Build customer confidence, provide accurate information, and promote products.
• Establish professional, yet personalized rapport with each customer to close sales and provide the best customer experience.
• Sell merchandise and provide customer service according to company standards (greet and acknowledge customers, demonstrate solid product knowledge).
• Maintain the appearance of the selling floor.
• Perform marketing activities such as opening new Boscov’s charge accounts to achieve company goals.
• Accurately and efficiently complete all transactions and paperwork while adhering to all company policies and procedures.
• Maintain awareness of advertised merchandise.
• Process and maintain stock by assisting in receiving, folding, straightening, and replenishing merchandise.
