About The Position

Micro Center is seeking self-motivated, results-oriented Retail Sales and Merchandising Associates for its high-volume computer and electronics retail store. Associates help customers choose computer and electronics products, maintain product knowledge through ongoing sales, vendor, and product training, and keep their department clean and merchandised. The role also supports store operations through opening and closing procedures and loss prevention awareness. Shifts may include hours before and after the store is open to the public, as well as mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Pay is $17–$30+ per hour, including base pay and commission.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Sincere interest in helping customers select products that meet their needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and adjust priorities.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
Availability for shifts that may include hours before and after store opening, mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

One year of related experience in customer service or a related role is strongly preferred.
Passion for technology, including computers and electronics.
Commissioned sales experience.
