About The Position

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a Retail Sales Agronomist (RSA) to sell Brevant Seeds brand seed and serve Western Pennsylvania retailers and customers. This is a remote position based within the specified geography, requiring travel as necessary. The RSA will connect with, train, team-sell, and portfolio plan with retailer sellers, with a primary focus on driving retail sellers' ability to demonstrate and capitalize on product value. The role also involves plot strategy, agronomy meetings, in-field teaching, and providing support materials for Brevant products.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree required
  • 7-8 years of total Ag experience
  • Excellent time management
  • An intangible drive to succeed and win
  • Must be able to sell, negotiate, and influence
  • Understand changing market dynamics (forecasting, product/marketing input)
  • Build a network of large growers to drive increased farm-gate demand within the territory
  • Ability to pass driving record background check

Nice To Haves

  • 5-6 years of agronomy experience and proven abilities preferred
  • Agronomy and knowledge of crop production practices preferred
