About The Position

Johnnie-O is seeking a Retail Sales Advisor to deliver an exceptional customer experience, build lasting customer relationships, and contribute to store success. The role helps create a welcoming, on-brand environment where customers connect with the products and Johnnie-O lifestyle. The advisor provides personalized styling and product guidance, supports sales and customer outreach, and helps maintain the sales floor, inventory, and store operations.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of retail or customer service experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine ability to connect with people.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to customer service.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a friendly, authentic approach that reflects the Johnnie-O brand.
• Understand customers’ needs, style preferences, and fit requirements through listening and conversation.
• Provide knowledgeable feedback and personalized styling suggestions.
• Share product knowledge, new arrivals, and upcoming events.
• Maintain a client book and follow up with customers to build long-term relationships.
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to store sales through proactive customer engagement and product recommendations.
• Participate in outreach, appointment-based selling, and event support to grow the customer base.
• Keep the sales floor and fitting rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Assist with restocking, re-merchandising, and seasonal floor changes.
• Support accurate inventory management and communicate stock needs to leadership.
• Process transactions, returns, and exchanges efficiently and accurately.
• Follow cash-handling procedures and maintain POS accuracy.
• Assist with back-of-house and replenishment responsibilities, price changes, markdowns, transfers, and other operational tasks as needed.
