About The Position

Johnnie-O is seeking a part-time Retail Sales Advisor to work 10–15 hours per week. The role delivers an exceptional customer experience, builds lasting customer relationships, and contributes to store success by creating a welcoming, on-brand environment connected to the Johnnie-O lifestyle. The advisor assists customers with product selection and styling, supports sales and customer outreach, and helps maintain store presentation, inventory, and day-to-day operations.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of retail or customer service experience, ideally in apparel or premium lifestyle brands.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with people.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to customer service.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers in a friendly, authentic way that reflects the Johnnie-O brand.
• Understand customers’ needs, style preferences, and fit requirements, and provide knowledgeable feedback and personalized styling suggestions.
• Share product knowledge, new arrivals, and upcoming events with customers.
• Maintain a client book and follow up with customers to build long-term relationships.
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals and proactively engage customers with additional product recommendations.
• Participate in outreach, appointment-based selling, and event support to grow the customer base.
• Keep the sales floor and fitting rooms clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Assist with restocking, re-merchandising, and seasonal floor changes.
• Support accurate inventory management and communicate stock needs to leadership.
• Process transactions, returns, and exchanges efficiently and accurately; follow cash-handling procedures and maintain POS accuracy.
• Assist with back-of-house and replenishment responsibilities, price changes, markdowns, transfers, and other operational tasks as needed.
