About The Position

The Retail & Residential Sales Coordinator position works in conjunction with the Berkshire Hathaway (BH) team, the Lodge at Blue Sky team, the Blue Sky development team and potential residential buyers to inform guests and interested parties on the residential offerings at Blue Sky. For retail, this position coordinates with the Director of Rooms and the third party retail consultants to maintain excellence in retail and drive sales and revenue.

Requirements

  • Effective upselling skills of products and experiences.
  • Strong guest development and relationship management skills.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in sales
  • 1 - 2 years real estate experience
  • Previous experience at luxury resorts and/or elite residential property.

Responsibilities

  • Work alongside an outside sales team to execute their residential sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on articulation of branding for presentations, site visits and tours.
  • Assist in planning and executing potential resident exclusive events and activities.
  • Working closely with Itinerary Designers to block and confirm tours for potential residential buyers coming to stay at Blue Sky.
  • Be actively present in the Residential Sales Office at the Lodge at Blue Sky to handle any potential buyer questions and offer residential property tours.
  • Work with all interested guests at the Lodge and put in touch with Sales Team.
  • Attend Critical Path meetings to advise on all tours for the week.
  • Work with real estate and property teams to optimize branded services, amenities and facilities.
  • Meet with prospective residence owners and effectively communicate the unique propositions of the Blue Sky Residences and amenities.
  • Provide a brand & BH appropriate orientation to prospective buyers.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of property and other information including all property facilities/services offered and hours of operation, staying up to date with current and upcoming offerings, all unit types, layout, décor, attributes and locations, entertainment/special events scheduled on the property and in the area, general info, descriptions, and directions for local services, restaurants, skiing, hiking and other points of interests.
  • Be knowledgeable about all guests and groups arriving at The Lodge at Blue Sky and their movement to capitalize on sales opportunities.
  • Executes home office retail managers and Director of Rooms directives in a timely and effective manner.
  • Communicates regularly with the home office retail team to ensure the appearance and direction of retail spaces align with Blue Sky’s soul of place and guest feedback.
  • Interacts with guests to produce sales and obtain feedback.
  • Opportunity to sit in on vendor meetings and other home office retail team meetings.
  • Trains and empowers appropriate departments & associates to provide exceptional experiences & services when utilizing Blue Sky retail systems.
  • Monthly Inventory and spot checks with Finance.
  • Maintain organization and tidiness in all retail areas.
  • Ensure all items are built into Micros and that the Front Office Team is utilizing Micros to its full capacity.
  • Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned to meet business needs.
