The role involves managing appointments, answering patient questions, handling check-ins and check-outs, collecting payments, and performing various front desk tasks. Additionally, the receptionist will conduct preliminary testing data collection, call for and follow up on insurance preauthorizations, and maintain the reception area. Customer interaction also includes offering current promotions, discussing pricing guidelines, and explaining the benefits of the discount club card. The position requires maintaining outside and internal Doctor Referral logs for medical patients.
