Aubuchon Company is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Retail Promotions & Marketing Operations Coordinator to support promotional programs across our family of retail brands. This position plays an important role in helping ensure that promotional pricing, coupons, signage, point-of-sale setup, reporting, and store communications are accurate, timely, and consistently executed. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with systems, spreadsheets, detailed information, and recurring deadlines.

Requirements

Associate degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Merchandising, Communications, or a related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in retail promotions, pricing, merchandising, administrative support, marketing operations, or a related field preferred.
Experience working with retail point-of-sale, pricing, merchandising, or promotional systems preferred.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and comfort working with spreadsheets and large data sets.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet established deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to follow established processes and maintain accurate records.
Ability to identify discrepancies, gather information, and coordinate with others to resolve issues.
Experience in hardware, home improvement, or multi-location retail is helpful.
Experience with Mi9 Merchant, Mi9 Store POS, Ace Hardware, Emery Jensen Distribution, ACENET, or HardwareStore.com is a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the setup, maintenance, testing, and validation of promotions within Mi9 Merchant, Mi9 Store POS, and related systems.
Maintain promotional calendars, pricing files, barcodes, coupons, markdown requests, and activation schedules.
Review promotional information for accuracy and help confirm that programs are properly configured before launch.
Coordinate the approval, production, and distribution of monthly sale signs, promotional sign kits, and other in-store materials.
Communicate with print vendors and internal teams to help ensure signage is accurate and delivered on time.
Support Ace Hardware and Emery Jensen Distribution promotional programs, store conversions, and program changes.
Review promotional pricing and offers on HardwareStore.com and other digital platforms for accuracy.
Monitor promotional reports and identify discrepancies, errors, or missing information.
Assist with resolving issues involving promotional pricing, coupons, barcodes, signage, and POS activation.
Coordinate with Marketing, Product and Inventory Management, IT/POS, Store Operations, and Accounting to support promotional execution.
Provide promotional support for grand openings, grand re-openings, contractor events, direct mail campaigns, and store-specific initiatives.
Prepare and distribute promotional communications, instructions, and supporting materials for store and regional teams.
Assist with promotional reconciliation, rebate recovery, invoice validation, and related documentation.
Maintain accurate promotional records, timelines, approvals, and supporting files.
Prepare routine reports related to promotional execution, participation, accuracy, and performance.
Respond to questions from stores and internal teams regarding pricing, coupons, signage, and promotional setup.
