About The Position

Vuori is seeking a seasoned Process Excellence Specialist to join their team and contribute to the growth of their retail store operations. This role involves leading the discovery, documentation, and teaching of retail store operations, investigating improvement needs, conducting root cause gap analysis, and creating strategies and procedures to enhance overall efficiency. The specialist will collaborate with cross-functional partners to shape operating procedures and drive the growth of retail store operations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years Process Improvement experience
  • 2+ years of training facilitation
  • Ability to work onsite in office and in retail stores.
  • Excellent problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in supporting operations in a retail environment, specifically apparel retail.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent years of experience preferred
  • Proficiency in process mapping and documentation / whiteboarding tools preferred
  • Business Process modeling training, certification, and experience are preferred. (Six-Sigma, LEAN etc)

Responsibilities

  • Work with business partners, field managers, and associates to capture business needs, understand the associate and customer journey, then develop processes to enhance the journey.
  • Coordinate and facilitate process improvement projects, both virtually and onsite in retail stores.
  • Establish and maintain retail operations and operating procedures.
  • Engage with field leaders to help identify needs to update and prioritize update schedules.
  • Act as an operational process liaison between retail store leadership, operations leadership, and tech teams to eliminate roadblocks to process implementation.
  • Epitomize process improvement champion and be the subject matter expert.
  • Teach excellence in process to retail leaders and end users.
  • Develop and deliver, in partnership with the retail Learning & Development team, meaningful training to support retail operations and excellence.
