About The Position

WIS International is hiring for a Part-Time Retail Pharmacy Associate – Inventory role. This position involves partnering with healthcare professionals at inventory events to accurately capture data such as part numbers, serial numbers, NDCs, and expiration dates of medical devices and/or medications. The role requires using handheld scanners to count and record retail inventory, maintaining a high level of accuracy, and meeting productivity goals. The job is active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, climbing ladders, and lifting up to 25 pounds. No prior inventory experience is needed as comprehensive training is provided. The company emphasizes a supportive environment where diversity is celebrated.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years old.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Completes pharmacy and hospital training certification, as required.
  • Complies with all healthcare and pharmacy customer standards, including but not limited to screening requirements, PPE requirements and confidentiality requirements.
  • Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable using handheld technology.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the LA County FCO and the California Fair Chance Act.

Responsibilities

  • Partner one-on-one with healthcare professionals at an inventory event, capturing part numbers, serial numbers, NDCS and expiration dates of medical devices and/or medication.
  • Count and record retail inventory using handheld scanners.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Meet productivity goals to increase earnings through performance-based pay.
  • Travel to retail locations.
  • Lead by example and demonstrate the core values of Spirit, Pride, Integrity, Results, Innovation, and Teamwork at all times.
  • Achieve established average per hour (APH) counting goals while ensuring accuracy and integrity of the data collected in all inventories worked.
  • Communicate information clearly and accurately, verbally and in written form, in a positive manner that yields cooperation.
  • Complete pharmacy training modules in the Learning Center, as required.
  • Create partnerships and instill trust and confidence in one's abilities, based upon demonstrated expertise.
  • Take initiative to explore and suggest new approaches that can impact quality and/or quantity of job performance and organizational effectiveness.
  • Assist with events in healthcare and retail settings, as needed.
