About The Position
The Retail Pharmacist position is with Thomas Hospitals’ Retail Pharmacy in South Charleston, West Virginia. The pharmacist must hold the license required by the state board where services are provided and obtain Basic Life Support certification within 60 days of hire. A state criminal background check and, where applicable, a federal background check are required for regulated areas. The position is scheduled for 40 hours per week on the day shift.
Requirements
- Current pharmacist license through the relevant state board where services will be provided: West Virginia State Board of Pharmacy or Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy.
- Obtain Basic Life Support certification within 60 days of hire.
- Complete a state criminal background check and, if applicable, a federal background check as required for regulated areas.
Nice To Haves
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy.
- Completion of a residency training program.
- Three years of pharmacist experience.
