About The Position

Cardinal Health Innovative Delivery Solutions is seeking a highly motivated pharmacist to work in a company-owned retail contract pharmacy within a Community Health Center. This role is crucial for delivering medication and pharmaceutical care in underserved communities. Responsibilities include immunizations, patient consultation, medication therapy management, and managing high-risk patients. The program focuses on population health management, HRSA compliance, and medication adherence, aiming to improve patient access and quality of care.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (PharmD preferred).
Pharmacist registration in the state where the position is located.
Immunization Certification or willingness to become a certified immunizer within 90 days of hire.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Interpersonal relations and customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

340B experience preferred.
May require vendor credentialing.

Responsibilities

Dispensing and ensuring safe and efficient delivery of medications to all customers under the direct supervision of a manager.
Maintaining open communication and being available to customers and practitioner sites for consultation.
Participating in the supervision of technical staff.
Ensuring pharmacy compliance with best practices for 340B contract pharmacies.
Providing professional consultation to both patients and prescribers of partner health facilities.
Completing pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' work flow, verifying their preparation and labeling of pharmaceuticals, and verifying order entries, charges, and inspections.
