About The Position

The Retail Partner plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and memorable shopping experience for guests visiting Rock City Gardens. This position supports daily retail operations by delivering excellent guest service, operating point-of-sale systems, maintaining clean and organized retail spaces, and assisting with merchandising and inventory needs. The Retail Partner contributes to a positive team environment while supporting efficient operations and high-quality guest interactions across all retail locations. This role supports Rock City Enterprises’ mission: “To enrich lives through Wonder and Connection.”

Requirements

Previous retail, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
Willingness to learn through on-the-job training.
Friendly, professional demeanor with a strong guest service mindset.
Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
Ability to read and understand basic operational procedures.
Basic math skills, including handling U.S. currency.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Flexible availability required, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

Deliver excellent guest service to internal and external customers in alignment with the organization’s mission, culture, and values.
Model Courage, Care, Wonder, and Excellence in all guest and partner interactions.
Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner and assist with product selection and questions.
Maintain a welcoming and guest-focused retail environment.
Operate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems to process sales, returns, and transactions accurately.
Follow all cash handling procedures and maintain accuracy in transactions.
Provide efficient and courteous checkout experiences for guests.
Stock shelves and organize displays to ensure merchandise is visually appealing and properly presented.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of retail areas, including light housekeeping tasks.
Ensure all retail spaces remain guest-ready throughout each shift.
Assist with receiving shipments, restocking merchandise, and organizing inventory.
Participate in inventory counts and stock management activities as assigned.
Ensure merchandise is properly handled, stored, and rotated.
Work collaboratively with Retail Team Leaders and fellow partners to achieve sales and service goals.
Support opening and closing procedures as assigned.
Follow all company policies related to safety, loss prevention, and operational standards.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
