About The Position
Pharmacy Technicians are a foundation of the pharmacy department and drive many workflow activities. The role supports the mission, vision, and core values of ECU Health and the pharmacy department by providing foundational dispensing activities and compounding hazardous and/or non-hazardous sterile products.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or enrollment in a program leading to a diploma or equivalent.
- Register with the North Carolina Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Support pharmacy workflow activities.
- Provide foundational dispensing activities.
- Compound hazardous and/or non-hazardous sterile products.
