Seasonal Retail Merchandising Support Associate, Queens Center
About The Position
As a Merchandising Colleague, also known as a Front of House Colleague, you help create exceptional customer experiences by sharing knowledge of Macy’s merchandise and services. You assist with floor relocations, improve visual merchandise presentation, arrange and maintain product displays, and keep pricing and signage current. The position also includes customer service and sales support, maintaining department recovery standards, and using technology to update product information. The role calls for flexible team players who can adapt to changing priorities and work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. No education or experience is required.
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities
- Greet and connect with customers in a friendly, genuine way and support a positive shopping experience.
- Ask questions to identify customer needs, recommend products, and offer options to complete sales.
- Use knowledge of store products, services, loyalty programs, and sales systems to help customers and suggest additional items.
- Assist with floor relocations and enhance the visual presentation of merchandise.
- Arrange and maintain product displays.
- Maintain department recovery standards, including the selling floor and fitting rooms.
- Use technology to maintain accurate pricing, promotions, and product information on signage and fixtures.
- Work with team members to achieve department goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Foster acceptance and respect in interactions with colleagues, customers, and communities.
