Seasonal Retail Merchandising Associate
About The Position
The Retail Merchandising Associate delivers a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean, organized store. The role follows operational, merchandise, loss prevention, labor, and safety standards, and may include cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. Responsibilities include serving customers at checkout, promoting credit and loyalty programs, processing merchandise, maintaining merchandising standards, recovering and cleaning the sales floor, and contributing to a positive and safe store culture.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and provide correct change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Uphold the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
