Seasonal Retail Merchandising Associate
About The Position
The Seasonal Retail Merchandising Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience through engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The associate follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role also involves processing purchases and returns, supporting loyalty and credit programs, preparing merchandise for the sales floor, maintaining store recovery and cleanliness, and contributing to a safe store environment.

Responsibilities
- Role-model customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain and clean the entire store.
- Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Follow applicable labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
